Pacific Sunset Maple

Acer truncatum ‘Pacific Sunset’

Hedge Maple

This smaller maple is a great option in smaller yards where a bigger tree wouldn’t be appropriate. It has an attractive dark green, pointed-lobed leaves during the growing season, turning orange in the fall. This Cultivar is tougher than most maples and resists pests and diseases. Pacific Sunset needs medium irrigation to stay healthy and grow well, so it’s not well suited to a low irrigation landscape.
